Game Information

  1. Rules - All Queen B's Poker tournaments are governed by TDA Rules and Queen B's Poker House Rules.
  2. Entry Fee - $130 buy-in ($100 to the prize pool and $30 admin fee)
  3. Starting Information - Players begin with a 30,000 start stack and play 20 minute blind levels. Registration is open until the end of the level 6 break (approx. 8:15pm). Reload tournaments are designed to give flexibility to players to play the tournament they want. Allowing players to buy re-entries and add-ons in multiple denominations suiting their bank roll and play style or even play for minimum buy-in fee. Players start with 150 BB. When registration closes new players start with a 20 BB stack, however a start stack and a double add-on will have a 53.3 BB stack.
  4. Breaks - 15-minute break after level 6, a 10-minute break after level 12. An optional extra 10-minute break may be given before the final table at the TD's Discretion.
  5. Prize Pool - Queen B's guarantees $4,000 (or 40% of the total prize pool) to 1ST for this tournament (Estimating a $10,000 prize pool and 60 unique players). Queen B's will make up any guaranteed prize pool shortfall with $AUD, NOT TICKETS. In the unlikely event that there is less than $4,000 in the prize pool, only first will be paid unless players agree to any splits or ICM deals. Please note that 'Honey Pot Tournaments' feature a unique payout system, with 40% of the total prize pool allocated to the first-place winner, unless the players agree to an ICM or negotiated split of the prize money. The prize pool distribution is determined by the total number of entries and re-entries in the tournament. Add-ons are included in the prize pool but do not affect the number of paid positions. You can view the 'honey pot payout structure' for this tournament here.
  6. Re-Entry - Re-entries are unlimited and may be purchased up until the end of the level 6 break. Re-entries and add-ons are half the price of the tournament buy-in to help keep this a fun and affordable dealer dealt tournament for all players. When eliminated, players may purchase a single or double re-entry for either $80 ($50 to PP + $30 Admin Fee) = 30,000 chips or $130 ($100 to PP + $30 Admin Fee) = 60,000 chips. Players may re-enter an unlimited amount of times during the re-entry period. Players have the option to sacrifice their stack at the level 6 break and re-enter, so long as they re-enter for more chips than they are sacrificing (less than 30,000 or 60,000).
  7. Add-ons - Add-ons may be purchased during the level 6 break. They are purchased with the TD at the registration desk.  Add-ons may be purchased as a single or double add-on for $50 = 30,000 chips or $100 = 60,000 chips, with 100% of the add-on fee going to the prize pool.
Add-on Procedure - We recommend registering for add-ons at the beginning of the event, to save time during the break. Add-ons will be distributed to player's stacks before the commencement of Level 7 by the TD.
  8. Time Bank - Players have 30 seconds to act on their hand during this tournament. Each player is issued 2 x 30-second time bank chips at the start of the event, with an additional time bank awarded upon reaching the final table.
    Time Bank Procedure:

When a player faces action, the dealer will allow
10 seconds to pass following the blind clock. After 10 seconds, the dealer will begin a 20-second countdown timer. The dealer will clearly count down the last 5 seconds to act on this timer as a warning that time is running out.
If a player clearly has not acted before the countdown reaches zero:

    One time bank chip
will be collected and the dealer will restart a new 30-second timer.
    If the player
has no time bank chips remaining, their hand will be declared dead and their hand will be mucked.  Or if they're not facing aggressive action then they will be forced to check.
    Time Bank Rulings:
    It is the
player's responsibility to clearly announce or make their action.
In close situations where it is unclear whether the action was completed before time ran out, rulings will
    favour the player.
If it is clear no action occurred before time expired, the appropriate penalty will be applied:
a time bank chip will be taken if available; otherwise, the hand will be mucked.
Time banks are not to be given to another player under any circumstance. Anyone caught doing so will be removed from the tournament and denied re-entry to the tournament. They are to be returned to the dealer when eliminated, players will be allocated 2 new time bank chips when they re-enter.
  9. Estimated Finish Time: 1:00am.
