Game Information
- Rules - All Queen B's Poker tournaments are governed by TDA Rules and Queen B's Poker House Rules.
- Entry Fee - $160 buy-in ($60 to the prize pool, $60 to the bounty pool and $40 admin fee)
- Starting Information - Players begin with a 60,000 start stack and play 20 minute blind levels. Registration is open until the end of the level 8 break (approx. 7:00pm). Players start with 200 BB. When registration closes new players start with a 30 BB stack.
- Breaks - 20-minute break after level 6 and 15 min break after level 12. An optional extra 10-minute break may be given before the final table at the TD's Discretion.
- Prize Pool - This tournament uses the Standard Payout table for this tournament which can be found here.
- Re-Entry - Re-entries are unlimited and may be purchased up until the end level 8. When eliminated, players may purchase a single re-entry for $160 ($60 to PP, $60 to BP + $40 Admin Fee) = 60,000 chips. Players have the option to sacrifice their stack at the level 8 break and re-enter, so long as they re-enter for more chips than they are sacrificing (less than 60,000).
- Time Bank - Players have 30 seconds to act on their hand during this tournament. Each player is issued
2 x 30-second time bank chips
when they enter the tournament, during each break all players will be topped up to 2 time banks to ensure no player is disadvantaged and an additional time bank is awarded to all remaining players upon reaching the final table.
Time Bank Procedure:
When a player faces action, the dealer will begin a 30-second countdown timer. The dealer will clearly count down the last 5 seconds to act on this timer as a warning that time is running out.
If a player clearly has not acted before the countdown reaches zero:
One time bank chip will be collected and the dealer will restart a new 30-second timer.
If the player has no time bank chips remaining, their hand will be declared dead and their hand will be mucked. Or if they're not facing aggressive action then they will be forced to check.
Time Bank Rulings:
It is the player's responsibility to clearly announce or make their action.
In close situations where it is unclear whether the action was completed before time ran out, rulings will favour the player.
If it is clear no action occurred before time expired, the appropriate penalty will be applied: a time bank chip will be taken if available; otherwise, the hand will be mucked.
Time banks are not to be given to another player under any circumstance. Anyone caught doing so will be removed from the tournament and denied re-entry to the tournament. They are to be returned to the dealer when eliminated, players will be allocated 2 new time bank chips when they re-enter. - Queen's Quest - This tournament earns points towards the Queen's Crown leaderboard. Full details about the Queen's Quest promotion can be found here.
- Estimated Finish Time: 11:00pm.
Progressive Bounty
In progressive bounty tournaments, 50% of the bounty contribution is put on every player's head and 50% is used to increase bounty amounts. Bounties are in play from the start of the tournament. When a player eliminates an opponent, they win the amount that player's bounty is displayed as to keep and then their own bounty amount increases by 50% of the amount just won. Everybody starts at $30 bounties. Then when you eliminate the first player you win $30 and your bounty then increases by $15, making your bounty now worth $45 to opponents.
